Troop 95 Policies
Activities Policy
- Based on desired monthly Scout outcomes, Scouts present ideas for
activities and special events to the Patrol Leaders Council (PLC)
for consideration.
- If approved, the PLC assigns the activity to a scout who serves as
the co-ordinator for that event.
- The scout/event co-ordinator consults with the Activities
Sub-committee (chaired by Tom D'Avanzo and Sue Molinda; Mary Wallan
consultant) for planning guidance and assistance.
- The date of the event is co-ordinated with the Activities
Sub-committee which retains, updates and distributes periodically a
master calendar of all Troop events.
- A rough budget for the event is set in advance by the Activities
Sub-committee in consultation with the Treasurer (Arnie Cohen).
- A goal is to begin planning events at least three (3) months in
advance of their occurrence.
